Hearth plate

‘t Achterhuis has a continuous collection of 250 antique cast iron firebacks. These are also called cast-iron firebacks and their function is to reflect heat and protect your stone firebox. Usually these plates are in perfect condition. Antique plates with a crack are restored by our own blacksmith.
