Antique Fire Plate

‘t Achterhuis has an ongoing collection of 250 antique cast iron hearth plates. These are also called cast-iron firebacks with the function of reflecting heat and protecting your stone firebox. Usually, these plates are in perfect condition. Antique plates with a crack are restored by our own blacksmith.
