Old wooden floors
‘t Achterhuis has various types of parquet in stock, both old and rustic. In our show rooms you can view the herringbone parquet, Hungarian ‘points’ parquet or barrack parquet. The old oak Hungarian ‘points’ parquet and the old oak herringbone parquet are manufactured from old French ‘wagondelen’. The frames for these parquets may be finished with standing or lying friezes. Obviously, the inlay of these parquets requires professional skill. If desired, we can arrange for this.
