Antique hobby since 1965

In a distant past Lambert Alebeek delivered, as baker, daily orders to farms and houses in the area. There and then he discovered his fondness for antique building materials.
His clients replaced fireplaces and tiled floors. He soon bought their 'surplus' of materials and his collection grew steadily. In 1965 he turned his hobby into his profession.
In Udenhout in Brabant you can find the self gathered stock of reclaimed building materials of 't Achterhuis. Visit the atmospheric showrooms and experience the love for old materials.
